PEANUT® 1 – The Ultimate CNC Nesting Solution
The PEANUT 1 connector is designed for manufacturers who only have 3-axis CNC nesting machines. The recess for the connector and the corresponding key hole are all machined on the face of the panel. As only face machining is required, manufacturers can create all panels for furniture in one machining operation. Once inserted, all panels made with PEANUT components can be packed flat and depending on the tightness of the joint, can be assembled with no tools.
The PEANUT 1 is made of a strong reinforced plastic and has rows of teeth around the body to provide high gripping strength when inserted. The body shape is designed for fast machining, requiring only a 25 mm and 5 mm drill bit to create the recess for the connector. Bevelled edges make aligning the PEANUT 1 easy and the small 5mm notch guides the component into the perfect position. The PEANUT 1 is available in 8 colors, enabling it to blend with many wood finishes.
The PEANUT® head has been specially designed to maximize ease of assembly and joint strength. Due to its dome shape, the PEANUT head smoothly slides along the slot created by the T-shaped PEANUT Cutter. In assembly, the PEANUT head rides over the lip of the PEANUT slot and slides to the end, this action creates a strong clamping force, pulling the two panels together from the inside.

PEANUT® 2 – Universal Clamping Dowel
The PEANUT 2 is an invisible connector and the most robust fastener in the PEANUT range. It is designed for head drilling machines and woodworking equipment. Once inserted, all panels made with PEANUT components can be packed flat and installed without tools, depending on the tightness of the connection.
The PEANUT 2 is made of strong, reinforced plastic and has rows of teeth at the end of the dowel to provide a high clamping force during insertion. A hole in the length of the component allows the use of a 3.5 mm screw, which forms a very strong core and further increases the clamping force. By tightening the screw, the joint can be made tighter or looser, allowing carpenters to achieve a perfect joint even after multiple assemblies. The PEANUT 2 has been shouldered to prevent over-tightening and is perfectly calibrated to make a tight connection in most situations.

PEANUT® 2 Short – Versatile Short Clamping Dowel
The PEANUT 2 Short is an invisible connector and the most versatile connector in our range. It’s short dowel length combined with a 3.5 mm screw enable the connector to produce perfect 45°, 90°, face-to-face and end-to-end connections. Once inserted, all panels made with PEANUT components can be packed flat and depending on the tightness of the joint, can be assembled with no tools.
The PEANUT 2 Short is made of a strong reinforced plastic. It has a smooth short dowel end for effortless insertion. A hole through the length of the component allows for a 3.5 mm screw to be used, this provides a very strong core and grip strength which secures the component to the panel. By adjusting the screw tightness, the joint can be made tighter or looser, allowing woodworkers to achieve the perfect joint even after multiple reassemblies. The PEANUT 2 Short has been designed with a shoulder to stop over-insertion and is perfectly calibrated for a tight joint in most situations.

PEANUT® 3 – The Optimum Insertion Solution
The PEANUT 3 is a single component, invisible connector and the optimum solution for large scale manufacturers. It is designed for fast assembly and is compatible with end drilling machines, auto-insertion machines and large-scale production line insertion machines. The short dowel length makes it a very versatile connector being able to produce perfect 45°, 90°, face-to-face and end-to-end connections. Once inserted with or without glue, all panels made with PEANUT components can be packed flat and depending on the tightness of the joint, can be assembled with no tools.
The Peanut 3 is made of a strong reinforced plastic and has rows of teeth around the dowel end to provide high gripping strength when inserted. The component is solid filled, meaning that it has no holes for screws or pins. Depending on the application, glue can be used to further increase the grip strength of the component. The PEANUT 3 has been designed with a shoulder to stop over-insertion and is perfectly calibrated for a tight joint.

PEANUT® 1 Drill-Pack
The PEANUT 1 Drill-Pack comprises of a 24.9 mm and 5 mm solid carbide CNC drill. The drill-pack is used to create the holes for the PEANUT 1 connector. To produce the PEANUT 1 holes, the 5 mm hole must be drill prior to the 25 mm hole. This will ensure a perfect recess for the PEANUT 1. The 24.9 mm CNC drill is designed to create a hole which perfectly fits the PEANUT 1 connector. A 25 mm CNC drill can still be used to create an almost perfect fit.

PEANUT® Cutter-Pack
The PEANUT cutter is a T-shaped cutter with a domed head and produces the PEANUT slots. The PEANUT cutter creates a keyhole slot which has an undercut. The PEANUT component inserts into the slot and slides along the undercut to clamp two panels together
The PEANUT slot is required for all PEANUT connectors. The cutter is precisely machined from 1/2” solid carbide rods and cannot be resharpened. To create an 8mm or 12mm PEANUT Cutter, the 1/2” PEANUT cutter goes through a second operation to grind the shank down to size.
